When it comes to the practise of physical/hatha yoga there are numerous yoga
dvds available. A google search will reveal to you the best yoga dvds that are
suited to the kind of practise that interests you. With today’s ability of online
shopping, they are only a few clicks away to having them delivered right to your
door.
I took a look online recently and was amazed to find just how many categories
there are to suit every possible need – power yoga dvds, pregnancy yoga dvds,
prenatal yoga dvds, beginner yoga dvds, beginners yoga dvds, beginning
yoga dvds, advanced yoga dvds. If in doubt about what you are buying, you can
click your way to yoga dvds reviews or the top 10 yoga dvds, or simply search
for top yoga dvds. Quite amazing!
But when it came to yoga philosophy dvds I was equally amazed to find that, in
comparison to physical yoga practise, there is very little on offer! I was delighted,
however, to find that my online search quickly revealed the series of dvds that
I have on offer. Delighted because the series is of tremendous value to you.
That there is need to exercise the body is beyond doubt. Equally important
however, is the need to understand the spiritual significance of your life so that
you can navigate your way through it with confidence, wisdom and boundless joy.
Consider, for example, one of the great spiritual sayings that we often hear … ‘It
is not what happens in your life, but how you respond to it that matters’. But how
you respond depends entirely on what you understand about yourself and the
world around you. My series, Yoga Philosophy Beyond the Mat, profoundly helps
you in these areas because it is based on some of the greatest spiritual writings
known to humankind – the Vedas, the Gita, the Bhagawatam, the Mahabharata
and Ramayan. It brings to the fore knowledge passed down through thousands of
years by the Yogis, Sages and Saints. It is relevant to today, simple to understand,
and probably one of the most comprehensive series of philosophical talks on the
spiritual nature of yoga that you are likely to find.
Easy for me to say this I know. However I invite you to have a look and learn the
truth of this for yourself. It really is a genuine opportunity to learn and make sense
of the subtle nature of your self, and of this complicated world in which we live.
